Exchange Student Meet-Up

Hey!

Yesterday (February 21st) I went to an exchange student meet-up in Berlin and I'm gonna tell you how it was now.

We had a group chat and started planning months ago! Since we were too many people we split in two because we couldn't decide what we were going to do, so one half went iceskating and the other half went shopping. In the end we weren't that many people anymore though because so many got sick and they couldn't come. So I went iceskating and we were 5 people, but it was alright because it was fun! We actually all had a lot of fun even though 2 of us have never tried ice skating before but it worked out really well. We stayed there about 2 hours and then we went to a train station near us and drove to a mall where the other half was shopping. They already sat there eating when we came and half of them actually already left. We got some food too and sat down beside them. We talked a bit and every like 20  minutes someone had to go. In the end there were 5 people left and we all made our way home. It was so much fun meeting all of you and I'm sorry that this post is so short, I also vlogged the day:

Here's a selfie of us iceskating:

That's it for now,

Interview, Online Application & Goodbye Book

Heey!

So I thought it was the right time to update you now :)

About 3 weeks ago or so I had my personal interview. There were 2 other exchange students with their parents, the interviewer and one returnee. First they explained the whole thing and you could ask questions and stuff. Then the interviewer took just the students downstairs to interview us in English to test if we can speak English. In the meanwhile the returnee told our parents about her expierience and answered some other questions. I was actually really nervous before the interview but it was really nice and I didn't have any problems. Oh and by the way, thats what I wore (just incase you can't decide what to wear like me, I went pretty casual):

Anyway, a few days later I got an email from TREFF that said that I got accepted and I got another email from the US partner organisation (which is ISE) that had a link to the online application inside it. I started filling it in immediatly but there were like 30 pages. I had to bring some to my doctor and some to my school too. Over all it was really stressfull but I managed it and I was done and send it for review on Janurary 29th.

I also made myself a Youtube channel and I'll upload my first video within the next week: youtube.com/ThisisNessi

I'm already done with my Goodbye Book too:

That's basically it for now,
